Welcome Cocktail with SHI Cryogenics Group
Sunday, September 15th - A Welcome Cocktail will be offered from 06:00 pm till 07:30 pm in the foyer Maestrale of the Magazzini del Cotone Conference Center by the Eucas 2013 Organization with the support of Sumitomo Cryogenics Group.
Eucas Evening @ Villa Lo Zerbino with Columbus Superconductors
Monday, September 16th - A Cocktail dinner will be offered to the Eucas 2013 attendees in Villa Lo Zerbino by the Eucas 2013 Organization with the support of Columbus Superconductors, from 07:30 pm till 10:00 pm.
Villa Lo Zerbino is one of the most fascinating and best preserved Genoese mansions. Built at the turn of the sixteenth century, but still with the characters of late Renaissance architecture, the Palace was enriched at the bidding of the first patrons, the Balbi family, with a cycle of frescoes by Domenico Piola and Gregorio De Ferrari, two artists active in Genoa in the late seventeenth century. A spectacular park, invisible from the outside, takes the visitor by surprise and will be the striking backdrop of the party.
The event has been moved to this more receptive structure to accomodate in a comfortable way the large number of participants in this edition of Eucas. We trust that its unique atmosphere will succeed in making the participants not to regret the Modern Art masterpieces of Villa Croce.
A bus service will be provided from the conference venue to Villa Lo Zerbino (from 6:45 pm) only, while the return is left to the personal choice of the participants. Further details and indications will be given onsite.
Conference Dinner
Tuesday, September 17th - The Conference Dinner of Eucas 2013 will take place in the Acquarium of Genoa, which is one of the most beautiful in Europe, from 08:00 pm till 11:00 pm.
The Aquarium of Genoa is the largest aquarium in Italy. It is located in Ponte Spinola, in the historical port of Genoa. It was opened in 1992 for the Colombiadi, the Expo celebrating the five hundredth anniversary of the discovery of America. At the time of its inauguration was the second largest aquarium in the world.
The tour winds up a total area of 9,700 square meters. Of particular value are the five large tanks, which can be seen from both floors of the aquarium, which house respectively dolphins, sharks, seals, manatees, and turtles, as well as countless other species of fish. In some tanks, visitors can soak your hands and touch the fish. In August 2013 opened the new pavilion of cetaceans.
The Aquarium is at walking distance from the conference site.
Dinner will be preceded by a free tour of the Acquarium.
