Proceedings

The proceedings of EUCAS 2013 are published by the Institute of Physics Publishing, UK, in two forms: selected papers  in the ‘special issue’ of Superconductor Science and Technology (SUST) http://iopscience.iop.org/0953-2048/27/4; all of the contributed papers (oral and poster)  in a volume of the open-access Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS) which is now available at http://iopscience.iop.org/1742-6596/507.

SUST special issue

The aim of the special issue is to provide a single collection of specifically invited, peer-reviewed original research papers of outstanding quality that cover the core topical themes of the Conference. All invited contributions to the special issue will be expected to report new and original results, and will be peer-reviewed in line with the usual editorial criteria for SUST.The following categories of people will be invited to submit their papers for consideration in the special issue:

a) Plenary speakers will be invited to submit either a review paper based on their plenary talk or an original research paper relating to their talk.

b) Invited speakers will be invited to submit a full original, internationally competitive research paper. The paper does not need to follow their presentation but should be within the theme of their session.

c) Selected contributing speakers nominated by the Session Chairs will be invited to expand their submitted JPCS paper into a full, original, internationally competitive research paper for consideration in the special issue.

d) The four ESAS prize winners will be invited to expand their submitted JPCS paper into a full, original, internationally competitive research paper for consideration in the special issue.

The last day for submission of a manuscript for inclusion in the SUST special issue will be 13 September, 2013. The Editorial Office will contact selected contributors with instructions on how to submit.
